  2. Sir why the potential diff. across 4H inductor is taken as V(D)-V(B)=-40 ; why cant we take it as V(B)-V(D)=40 in this case we would get a diff. answer?

    by looking at the polarity of the inductor we can say that inductor wants to increase the current; that implies the current across DB was initially decreasing at a const. rate (correct me if I am wrong)
